Gupta sibling

Versatile, hardworking and enthusiastic, the Gupta siblings are focused towards the path to education. Financial constraints, family issues and other obstacles have not deterred their endeavors.

They belong to a small village in Uttar Pradesh. Head of the family, Shri Rajender Gupta, earns his livelihood by working as a Caddy at Noida Golf Course. His wife supplements the family income by working in agricultural fields in their native village. They have three sons and one daughter.

With the help of academic and mentoring support received from Vidya & Child, the eldest child, Srichand went on to complete B.A. and now works as a Golf Coach in Pathways International School, Greater Noida. Younger to him, Devishankar, is currently pursuing Hotel Management from IHM, Lucknow.

Ramashankar, the third sibling, is studying in class XI with Commerce as his stream from Hope Hall Foundation School, Delhi and is part of our Foundation Programme. Their sister, Gauri, is pursuing Senior Secondary through the NIOS Support Programme of Vidya & Child.
