“Udaan” or the “the first flight” is the first ever compilation of the writing endeavours of Vidya and Child student.This journey, spanning a few months,saw classes IV to XII involved in creative writing activities,designing book cover and illustrating their article.
The books, published in English and Hindi, were launched in a special event held in Feb-2016.The event comprised Poem Recitiation as well as Theatre performances by students depicting some of the contents of the book.The unveiling of the cover page of “Udaan” was done by renowned writer Ms. Vibha Malhotra.
